1. Data We Collect
- Identity & contact data: name, phone number, email address and delivery address provided at checkout or when you raise an enquiry.
- Order & transaction data: items ordered, amounts, payment status and order history.
- Account data: your mobile number, verified one-time passcodes (OTP) and associated account records.
- Location data: approximate location or pincode you choose to share so we can show relevant delivery availability and branch information. You are asked for consent before location is used and can decline.
- Device & usage data: browser/device type and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the site.
- Consent records: a record of the consents you give (for example, location and communication consent) with a timestamp.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders and to provide order updates.
- To create and secure your account and to authenticate you using OTP.
- To determine serviceable areas and show relevant pricing or branch availability.
- To respond to enquiries, provide support and handle service requests.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to prevent fraud.
3. Consent & Lawful Basis
We process personal data based on the consent you provide, and for certain legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act (such as fulfilling a contract with you or complying with law). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. Location access is optional and requested only through your browser or device prompt.
4. Sharing of Data
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate — for example, payment gateways, logistics and delivery partners, communication/SMS/email providers, and hosting providers — and only to the extent needed for the purpose. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by applicable law (for example, tax and accounting records). Consent records and order records are retained for the period required to demonstrate compliance.
6. Your Rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure of data no longer needed, and withdrawal of consent. You may also nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To exercise any right, write to [email protected].
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to those who need it.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children, and where required we seek verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
10. Grievance Officer
